Preorders Open For The Book PF, 3rd Edition

The third edition of The Book of PF is now available for preorder from the No Starch Press site. There will also be an early access program for the very eager readers. Author Peter Hansteen (also a co-editor here) tells us that highlights of the new edition include a walkthrough of the new traffic shaping system, a bit more IPv6 material than previous editions and various updates and fixes to the text so it's in line with the recently released OpenBSD 5.5 and will hopefully be useful past OpenbSD 5.6 and some time into the future.

BSDCanned Goods | BSD Now 37

This week we're at BSDCan, ganging up on people and forcing them to give us interviews. Assuming we don't get arrested for harassment, we'll be back next week with your regularly scheduled programming.
For now, we've got some feedback emails to catch up on, as well as a prerecorded talk Matt Ahrens gave about ZFS.
We'll be back to tell you all about the conference next week, on BSD Now - the place to B.. SD.
